Aims

Our aim here at Blossom Tree is to have a dynamic impact on each and every child that attends our nursery. We aim to achieve this by providing a warm and homely environment, that hosts very carefully set up play experiences designed to ensure that as children play, they learn and acquire understanding of concepts and skills required to become confident, capable and challenged individuals. Our aims are to include all children from various backgrounds and with diverse needs, we will include every child and provide equality of opportunity. Starting points will be achieved through discussions with carers as well as keyworkers. By carrying out initial detailed assessment, these starting points will enable staff to have a clear basis for meeting each child’s individual needs.

Objectives

Our objective is that when our children leave they will be confident and capable young children, prepared with the necessary skills to face new challenges as they move on to school. Through staff appraisal and observation of children we will seek to maintain our aims and objectives. These will be reviewed annually along with all Policies and Procedures.
